We are proud to announce a new three-year partnership with children’s wellbeing provider YogaBugs, sponsoring access to its online yoga and mindfulness platform for pupils, families and staff at Bridgtown Primary School in Staffordshire.

This partnership will support the school in promoting children’s mental health and wellbeing by providing regular access to YogaBugs’ yoga, movement and mindfulness sessions. These sessions are designed to help children develop emotional regulation, focus, resilience and positive mental wellbeing.

Our CEO, Bethan Evans, who appears in the video linked below, said:

“We are delighted to support YogaBugs at Bridgtown Primary School. At My Choice Healthcare, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel happy, settled and supported - and that starts in childhood. This partnership allows us to give something meaningful back to the community where we work.”

She added:

“Our hope is that this sponsorship will have a lasting, positive impact. We actively look for ways to integrate into our local communities and to be a beacon of support for children, families and schools.”

Desley Beaman, our Executive Director of Operations, met with the Headteacher at the school recently to launch the partnership. The funded access provides a whole-school wellbeing solution, including:

  • Children’s yoga and mindfulness sessions for PE, movement breaks and classroom wellbeing

  • Parental access, allowing families to practise together at home

  • A dedicated adult wellbeing section supporting both school staff and parents

The programme is designed to reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and emotional awareness and help children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact this programme will have on pupils at Bridgtown Primary School over the coming three years.
