Homes of Excellence incorporates two small residential care homes, supporting people with a learning disability/mental illness to live, providing them with a ‘home for life’.
Victoria House and Luk Ros (both within 3 miles of each other) provide support to younger adults, between the ages of 18-64.
Both are located within/near to the town of Blackwood in Caerphilly Borough, South East Wales.
Victoria House is a very well-presented large bungalow, set within large grounds. It has an extremely positive reputation, gained over 20 years. Victoria House is a dormer bungalow and also affords an highly accessible environment.
Luk Ros has been in operation for 30 years. It is a detached bungalow with a pleasant outdoor patio area to relax on. It provides a truly accessible environment, where people with physical disabilities can be supported with ease.

Kelly joins Luk Ros and Victoria House as the new manager, bringing with her 15 years of experience in the care sector.
She spent nine of those years at Springfield House, where she was proud to progress into a management role, demonstrating her commitment and dedication to high-quality care.
Kelly is passionate about ensuring every service user lives a happy and fulfilled life. She is committed to delivering truly person-centred care, with wellbeing always at the heart of everything she does.
She is excited to build strong, positive relationships with the team and looks forward to supporting both staff and residents to thrive within the home.

Kevin has worked at Luk-Ros for 8 years as a Support Worker. In March 2024 Kevin was promoted to Senior Support Worker and moved over to Victoria House to support residents at the home.
Kevin enjoys his role and supporting residents with all individual needs.
Chloe has worked at Luk Ros for 5 years and has recently been promoted to Senior Support Worker.
Chloe enjoys making a difference to residents lives. Seeing them happy and smiling everyday brings her happiness and given her the drive to excel in her role and to enjoy many more years at Luk Ros.
