Before managing Glyncornel, Nicola worked at our Springfield home for more than 20 years. During this time, she carried out several roles but for the majority of this time, was employed as the Registered Manager (when it was initially a Residential Home supporting Older people, before becoming a small residential home supporting people with a Learning Disability.
In January, 2023 Nicola became the Operations Manager within My Choice Healthcare and now, she is responsible for the management and oversight of 4 of our care homes.
Nicola has a HND in business administration, a NVQ (level 4) Registered Managers’ Award and an Advanced Counselling qualification. Nicola is passionate about the delivery of person-centred care, always striving to deliver individually tailored support. Equally, Nicola enjoys working alongside other managers, supporting them to deliver the best care and support possible within their Care Homes – she works alongside staff, promoting caring and stable environments and encouraging all to exceed the required minimum standards.
Dotty has over 35 years experience working in the care sector, as a nurse and also within management. She has worked at Glyncornel for over 2 years as a nurse. Working with every resident with their own unique plan of care.
As a nurse at Glyncornel, Dotty is committed to prioritising compassion and care in her interactions with residents and colleagues. She enjoys working as part of a strong committed team.
