Bethan J Evans
Chief Executive Officer
Bethan has worked within Health and Social Care for almost 30 years and has operated at Executive/Board level for over 17 years; leading on strategic/operational management and business development within Health & Social Care, Social Housing and Welfare to Work.
Having worked within local government, not-for-profit and the private sector, she has operated within the space of Commissioner and Provider of Services.
Bethan has a strong track record of leading organisations and teams to deliver strong performance, business development/growth, managing complex change and building resilience across the business. With a passion for supporting people to achieve their aspirations, Bethan enjoys nothing more than visiting our Homes, spending time speaking with our residents and staff alike.
Bethan is the Responsible and Nominated Individual with Regulators, across the My Choice Healthcare Group.
Bethan also holds a public appointment as a Non-Executive Director at the Welsh Ambulance Services’ NHS Trust and within this, Chairs the Quality & Patient Safety Committee.

Desley Beaman
Executive Director of Operations - England
Desley has worked in Operations and Project Management for over 30 years, with the last 10 years at a Director level.
She has worked in various Health and Social Care settings; including mainstream Social Care, GP Out of Hours Services and Occupational Health.
Within social care, she has extensive experience of leading residential, supporting living and domiciliary care service provision, for both Older People and for younger adults with a Learning Disability/Autism/Mental Illness.
With a keen commercial acumen, Desley has a strong track record of driving service performance and improvement, business development and of systems’ development to maximise service/business performance. Desley is committed towards delivering truly personcentred care and support and developing bespoke solutions to meet individuals’ needs. She is passionate about achieving the very
best that we can for those that we support.

Michael Bevan
Executive Director of Operations - Wales
Michael is the Director of Operations at My Choice Healthcare Ltd, where he has 18 years of experience in the social care sector. Joining the organisation in 2025, Michael oversees Operations throughout Wales services.
Starting his career in 2006 in social care, he has worked in both Domiciliary and Residential sectors in the Independent, public and third sectors. Michael has held an executive position since 2017, serving as both Operations Director and Quality Director in the independent sector. Michael has also operated as a Responsible Individual for 6 years under the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care Act 2016 (Wales).
Michael holds a range of professional qualifications and awards, including a QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management. ILM Level 5, Diploma in Advice and Guidance, and is completing a Master’s in Business Administration.
Michael is dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration. Michael prioritises being actively present within the services with a hands-on approach, enabling him to effectively drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and promote continuous improvement across all services. With a commitment to operational excellence, Michael plays a crucial role supporting the Chief Executive Officer with organisational strategies and growth.

Nicola Mullins
Operations Manager - South East Wales
Mandy started her career as a Nurse for the NHS in 1999 and worked her way up to Senior Sister. She left the NHS after 16 years and started her journey in the care home sector as she felt she could give more back and have a positive impact on residents lives. She commenced her first role as a Clinical Lead within a dementia nursing home and within 2 years worked her way up to the position of Manager.
Mandy has remained within the care home setting for the last 8 years and previously worked in a management position in Bournemouth where she was a registered manager for an 80 bed nursing home. Along with her Nursing degree she has qualifications in Level 5 Management, Level 4 Advice and Guidance and Level 3 Diplomas in Dementia and Diabetes.
Her passion is people and she thrives on making a difference for the people we care for. Developing teams so they they give more than basic care and that every day they know they are supporting every person as individuals with their wellbeing at the foremost of what they do.
Nicola has worked at Springfield for more than 20 years and during this time, has carried out several roles and for the majority of this time, has been employed as the Registered Manager (when it was initially a Residential Home supporting Older people, before becoming a small residential Home supporting people with a Learning Disability.
In January, 2023 Nicola became the Operations Manager within MCH and now, she is responsible for the management and oversight of 4 Care Homes.
Nicola has a HND in business administration, a NVQ (level 4) Registered Managers’ Award and an Advanced Counselling qualification. Nicola is passionate about the delivery of person-centred care, always striving to deliver individually tailored support. Equally, Nicola enjoys working alongside other managers, supporting them to deliver the best care and support possible within their Care Homes – she works alongside staff, promoting caring and stable environments and encouraging all to exceed the required minimum standards.

Sophie Wilson
Business Support Officer
Sophie is the Business Support Officer at My Choice Healthcare Ltd, having joined the organisation in 2025. She plays a vital role in supporting internal systems, communications, and operational processes, collaborating across teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services.
Sophie holds a degree in Business Information Systems and brings extensive experience in business support, having worked with both small businesses and larger organisations. This diverse background has equipped her with the ability to adapt systems and processes to meet the needs of different environments and teams
Earlier in her career, Sophie gained practical experience in home care, supporting older people (including those with dementia) and younger adults with learning disabilities and mental illness. This hands-on experience continues to inform her work, with a strong focus on meeting the needs of those receiving care and enhancing their wellbeing.
Sophie is fluent in Welsh and enjoys using the language wherever possible. She is committed to increasing the use of Welsh within the organisation to promote clear, inclusive communication and accessible services.
