Inspiring Excellence: Our First My Choice Healthcare Staff Conference 2026

We were delighted to host our very first My Choice Healthcare Staff Conference on 15th April 2026 in Cardiff.

It’s not often we have the opportunity to bring together leaders, managers and staff from across our twelve homes and domiciliary care services in England and Wales, making this a truly special occasion. It was fantastic also to have one of our owners and founders, Craig Sheppard, join us for the occasion. Having helped establish the business in 2019, Craig - who comes from a finance background with extensive experience leading and developing a wide range of businesses - shared his personal motivations for starting the company and what 'giving something back' truly means to him.

Led by our CEO, Bethan Evans, the day centred on Inspiring Excellence and placing people at the heart of care. We were also pleased to welcome guest speaker and facilitator Tim Dallinger, who guided us in reflecting on the impact of our work and how we continue to grow and support one another as a team.

A highlight of the day was recognising the incredible contribution of our staff. We proudly hosted our first annual staff awards, celebrating the dedication, compassion and commitment shown across the organisation and the meaningful difference our teams make every day.

The energy throughout the day was inspiring as colleagues connected, shared ideas and left with fresh perspectives to take back to their services.

Closing remarks from Bethan and Craig perfectly captured the spirit of the event. Healthcare is a truly special sector and we are all proud to be part of the My Choice family - placing people at the heart of care everyday and helping to make a difference!
